The Alexandria Bulletin Board

The bulletin board is a place to store and share information among your library users.

Bulletins can be created and viewed on Library Workstation computers, and can be viewed on Research Workstation computers. Bulletins are automatically stored on and retreived from the Alexandria Datastation.

The left pane of the bulletin board contains the current list of bulletins. Selecting a bulletin on the left will display the contents of the bulletin on the right.

The list of bulletins may be shown and hidden by clicking on the arrow icon at the top-left corner of the screen.

There are two types of bulletins - documents and maps. Documents are used to share general information, and can include an optional expiration date. Maps are associated with call number ranges and will be displayed when the user selects details about a particular item that falls within that range.
